  Hello WPACES Family!
  Happy Friday! I Hope that this week was amazing for you full of learning and exploring from the comfort and safety of your home. Above is a video that brings down basic positions in Ballet. As we mentioned throughout the school year Ballet is the foundation to all dance. Take a look at the video and practice the different positions. When we meet for Live Lessons we will review the different positions taught with the video.
  
  Once your perfect a certain move have a family member take a picture of you in that ballet position and email it to Mr. Richardson at [email protected] I will talk all pictures to create a dance slide show, that will showcase all of your great ballet poses.

• What is Bomba Sica?

  In this video, I'll show you how to play the Sica Rhythm on a Barril de Bomba (Barrel Drum). Due to a lot of social unrest this year (2020), the Bomba culture has made quite a stride and received worldwide attention, so I thought of making this video. The Barril de Bomba is traditionally from Puerto Rico. Before they became drums, these were barrels used by slaves to transport Rice, Sugar and Tobacco. Hope you have fun and grab you one of these drums if you can!
