We share the sad news of the passing of Peter Tramo, husband of our beloved school secretary, Mrs. Lucy Tramo. In place of flowers or gifts, Mrs. Lucy invites those who wish to express their condolences to make a donation to WPACES.

On Tuesday, November 5, WPACES will have an early dismissal at 12:30 pm. There will be no afterschool programs, so please ensure timely pickup and contact your child’s daycare provider.

Today, WPACES students, staff, and families come together to raise awareness and honor those affected by breast cancer. Through our walk, we stand united in the fight, stepping up to support survivors, remember loved ones, and inspire hope for a cure. Join us in making strides toward a brighter, healthier future!

School will be in session at West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School (WPACES) on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Please ensure students are on time. WPACES is open even though some local schools may be observing a holiday.

This summer, ensure your child's vision is perfect with no-cost eye exams and glasses offered by Eagles Eye Mobile, powered by Vision To Learn. Available for all K-12 students in Philadelphia & Delaware County who have vision concerns or have previously failed a vision screening.

Expect a night filled with energy, creativity, and nostalgia as we honor the artists, movements, and moments that have defined this enduring genre.
