Welcome
Dear WPACES families and NEW 4th graders,
Welcome to 4-2, I am so excited to be your teacher this year! My name is Ms. Dixon. Let me start by sharing a little about myself. I was born and raised in North Philadelphia. I graduated from Strayer University with a bachelor's degree. I have worked at Wpaces for 7 years working with grades k-5th. I am connected to all the students here at Wpaces to help provide and support in this educational and learning environment. I try to be highly involved in all activities. I have coached the cheerleading team at Wpaces for 3rd through 5th-grade girls in 2018-2021. I have very high expectations for your child and I will work tirelessly to help them achieve those expectations. There will be a lot of growth, learning, and interactive exploration in our classroom this year! KNOW THIS: Learning will be fun!
I believe that children learn best when the teacher and parents work together to set and achieve the same goals for their child. It is important to work together as a team and keep communication open between us to ensure that your child has a successful school year. I look forward to an awesome, fun, and productive school year. Let’s work together to make this the best year ever!
Hello Parents/Guardians and New Students!! My name is Ms. Bivins and I am the Co-teacher in 4-2. I am super excited to get to know each and every one of you and am looking forward to an amazing year! This will be my third year here at WPACES working with 4th grade.
I hope to create an engaging learning experience to achieve the growth and progress of your children. I also believe in a strong partnership of parents and teachers to aid in your child's success. I intend to make learning both fun and exciting! Once again, I hope to have a wonderful school year!
